Here at Grade 1 Metalworks we not only supply and fit Staircases but we also offer a full survey, Drawing and Design service.

We have supplied and fitted our own Staircases all over the country and our fitting teams have been contracted by other companies to erect their works too.

We have been engaged in some very good contracts with Staircases including

• Waterstone bookshops,
• National History Museum,
• The Royal School of Speech and Drama,
• Tesco's,
• even a private residence in “cap ferret” near Monte Carlo.

We have had plenty of experience in manufacture and installation, and can offer various types of Staircases including:

• Fire Escapes,
• Winding Staircases,
• Spiral Staircases,
• Spine back designs,
• Single flight to multiple flights with Landings and half Landings.

We can use a variety of materials which include:

• Mild Steel,
• Stainless Steel,
• Glass as Treads and Landing panels. With Balustrade to match.
• Brass,
• Open flooring treads are available to allow for light to get through to areas under the Staircase in confined spaces.

Finishes

• Galvanised finishes,
• Powder coated finishes.
• Stainless Steel.
• Painted.

We also offer to remove existing Structures if corrosion has set in and the Structure needs replacing.
