At Grade 1 Metalworks we started as teams of Steel erectors working all over the country and also abroad as far as Monte Carlo,St Tropez, and Jersey. We worked for a lot of the Steel Fabrication companies and grow into a well know and well respected erecting company. I then decided to take over a company that had gone bankrupt and started to manufacture Metalwork also.With the clients I already knew in the trade sub contracting me some of their works to help me out I quickly grow and even had to move into the bigger workshop where we are today.The fabricators are all people I have known for a long time and they have a wealth of trade experience among them.We have been involved in many major projects including the refurbishment at Lakeside shopping centre,The fire station in Carmarthan in Wales,Refurbishment at Bentalls in Kingston upon Thames,Canary Wharf,the new Olympic sites at Bow in London and Waltham Abbey to name just a few.We have been lucky enough to have worked in many very nice properties and have a good gallery which shows some of our works.
